Introducing our new brand: WeQ

Today, we are incredibly excited to announce the official launch of our new brand: WeQ.

Perhaps you already got a taster of what we’re about in our brand video? WeQ is an international team of mobile ad tech experts providing user acquisition and engagement services at a global scale. Our mission is to enable companies to kickstart and scale their app’s growth journey. We achieve this by combining a technology-driven approach with our dedicated client services, to ensure that mobile performance campaigns are targeted and optimized towards user acquisition goals across all markets. This allows our clients to focus on what they do best: building great apps and growing successful brands.

Meet our team and solutions

Our modus operandi consists of combining the deep expertise of our team of ad tech veterans, with innovative machine-learning technology, to be able to provide advertisers and app developers easy access to alternative growth solutions, across any mobile ad format at scale.

Firstly, meet our team: we pride ourselves on our 100 dedicated mobile advertising experts — from engineers, to growth and market specialists — based in Berlin and San Francisco and representing over 30 nationalities. They are spearheaded by a management team of accomplished mobile industry veterans hailing from Adjust, Glispa and HitFox Group, to name a few, with local knowledge of global markets (we currently cover 180 GEOs). Our name and branding explained

Our name encompasses our founding values in three simple letters. At our core, WeQ is driven by a forward-thinking, socio-economic movement striving to shift from an exclusive ‘I’ culture to a collaborative ‘We’ culture. We believe in creating synergies, sharing knowledge and working towards joint solutions — exemplified by how our teams join forces and partner with our clients to help reach their advertising goals — so we needed a strong name emphasising this. We combine this collective knowledge with our innovative technology to become a unified, comprehensive form of human & tech intelligence on which our new venture is founded.

Visual identity and logo development

Introducing our logo: the Q stands for two elements — the collective human forms of intelligence and the intelligent technology that is shaping our world. United, We + Q = WeQ, represents the fusion of smart people with smart technology.

The visual identity of WeQ is strong and personal, yet sophisticated. The intersection between human and technology elements is symbolized by the two visual features of the “Q”. The golden color reflects our human talent — some of the brightest minds in the industry that work at WeQ, driving our clients’ user acquisition and engagement at scale. The pattern of the letter Q was chosen for the technological element to emphasize that tech and data are interwoven into everything we do and develop.

Our brand color is defined by a deep blue, reflecting trust, reliability, and sophistication – three characteristics which we believe are important in the fast-changing industry that is ad tech. Meanwhile, our technology is represented by the color green – symbolic of growth and innovation.
