In difficult times of self-isolation and social distancing, anxiety can be overpowering.
Mindfulness meditation is a practice that has been proven to alleviate stress, depression and insomnia. Meditation can be practiced by anyone, it is inexpensive and it doesn’t require any special equipment.
With over 2000 meditation apps out there, it can be hard to decide on the right one for you.So we took a deep breath and asked our team for their favourite apps for a calm and peaceful mind. Below are their recommendations.

1. CALM

Calm claims to be the #1 app for sleep, meditation, and relaxation. With 50 million downloads, 700,000 5-star reviews, and several awards from Apple and Google, they are no doubt playing in the top league of high ranking mindfulness apps. Tackling the insomnia problems plaguing people around the world by teaching you the art of meditation, Calm offers exclusive music to help you focus, relax, sleep, and even lets you doze off to the dulcet tones of actor Matthew McConaughey’s southern drawl or writer Stephen Fry’s English accent.

Our team loves this app because it includes soothing sessions with real life nature sounds also on the free trial version. Sherry from our Publisher Account Management and YuTing from our Business Development Team highly recommend the app as it helps them to calm down before going to bed, get more restful sleep, and wake up feeling refreshed. Our Account Manager, Dasom particularly enjoys the app’s audio programs taught by world-renowned mindfulness experts.
